Predestination is assuming there is only one dimention. There are layered dimentions. If this is so, a timeline of varried events is what separates them. A decision that is not apart of the current timeline is how a new dimentions forms.

I believe what is going to happen is going to happen. You can of course have a plan, take inspired action etc but that was likely part of your predestination anyway. The future is what it is.
