    What makes a great photograph? There are so many things that go into a good image, even beyond the technical aspects like line, form, focus, pattern, lighting and colour. A great photo must have those attributes, but also should carry something more: it should draw an emotional response from the viewer, share a story that can be related to even while leaving much to the viewer's imagination.

     

    In this contest, it is our hope that contestants share images that see the world in a unique perspective, that communicate with the viewer in a strong manner while featuring one of our 54 major Whizolosophy topics.

     

    We will be looking for iconic photographs that capture iconic moments in a way that is truly unforgettable.

     

    You are welcome to submit as many photos as you like in this contest, as long as the image relates directly to the Whizolosophy category it's being submitted to.

    How To Submit

    Submit your photogragh through the Enter Now Button on the contest page. Choose the Whizolosophy Category that your image relates to, and upload your photograph. 

     

    Determining the Winners

    Finalists, honourable mentions and winners will be announced on Whizolosophy on the announcement date. All submissions will be viewed by and subsequently voted on by other Whizolosophers to determine the finalists. The field will be narrowed down to 10 finalists based on votes from other Whizolosophers. The 10 finalists will then be viewed and adjudicated by a Whizolosophy panel who will name the first, second, and third place winners. All winners will receive their prize via email.

     

    Rules / Regulations

    1. This Whizolosophy Contest is free to enter.
    2. You can submit as many photographs as you like.
    3. Each user will only be eligible to win one prize per contest.
    4. Each photograph you submit must directly relate to the Whizolosophy Category it is being submitted to.
    5. Each photograph must be your original work. Submitting someone else's photograph will disqualify you from being eligible to win this contest.
    6. All Entries must be submitted no later than 11:59 PM PST on the submission deadline date. Late submissions will not be considered.
    7. Prizes will be paid via Amazon Gift Cards in Canadian Funds.
    8. Each user must read and agree to Whizolosophy's Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
    9. Each user must have an accurate email address on their profile in order to be eligible to win prizes.
