It's appareant that the push is on to bring the muscle car back, but do any of the big three manufactures evern really remember what a muscle car is, I think Chevrolet has a good idea with the new 505 hp ZO6 Corvette, form everything that I've read on the new Corvette, it is an awesome car. The likes of which has never been built before in this country.
The test driver for spike tv's power block tv drove one last week, along with Dale Ernhart J.R., and he said that he feels that the US has made a mark with the new Vette, he mensioned the 24 hour Lemas race in france, where the new Corvette C6 had come in in possions 1 & 2 respectively.
This was against the likes of Ferarri, Porche, Astin Martin, and afew of the other big boys that I could mension, but what would the point be, that short list covers all the real players, and these guys are the real mccoy, they are the toughest of the tough, the meanest of the mean, and at the top of the heap.
Just to borrow a few of the test drivers words, the ZO6 Corvette is a real true supercar, and if the big boys come to play with this car, they're likely to leave bloodied, and this comes from a man who has driven all of these cars, and does it every day for a living.
No matter what you think of the American cars, you better stand back and take a good long look at this bad boy before you go thinking that it's just another good looking car with no getty up and go, because you would be wrong, it is tough, it is bad, and it is a Corvette.
