Did you cry?
Before you said those last goodbyes.
Did you blink?
Having a second to think.
Was it bliss?
Did you think of our last kiss?
Your final goodbye, must have been a wild ride,
But how could you CHOOSE to leave us all behind?
Drowing in whys
No shortage of reasons to cry.
How could you leave to fly
With barley a goodbye.
All I have done is cry,
Picturing that last goodbye.
On the brink, only time to think
Like warm breath,
Almost feel your head against my chest.
Lonely long road
Walking the path all alone.
Still drowning in whys
Slowly less reasons to cry,
As I process that last goodbye.
