This collaboration comes as Amintha Sugath De Silva, an adviser at the Fintech Association of Sri Lanka (FASL), becomes the first Sri Lankan recipient of GAFM's esteemed 'Certified Digital Finance Professional' certification.
Amintha received the prestigious certification at the Digital Finance Forum held recently at the Hilton Colombo. The event, organized by the Asian FinTech Academy (AFTA) in collaboration with the International Board of Standards (IBS) based in Colorado, USA, showcased the expertise and achievements of professionals in the digital finance sector. Amintha's accomplishment highlights his dedication to staying at the forefront of the industry.
With over 25 years of banking experience and training from renowned institutions such as Mckinsey & Company, USA, Amintha has established himself as a leading figure in customer relationship management and cross-selling in the financial services sector. Currently serving as the Chief Visionary Officer of Vision 8 Academy, Amintha conducts training sessions locally and internationally, imparting his knowledge to professionals across leading banks in Sri Lanka, as well as institutions in Dubai, UAE, and the Maldives.
By partnering with GAFM, QAHE expands its accreditation portfolio to include institutional accreditation, ensuring that educational institutions meet the highest standards of quality and excellence. GAFM, operating in over 40 nations worldwide, holds certifications and trademarks conferred by the IBS, a charter member signatory to the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in Washington, D.C., and with an agreement with the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) in Kansas, USA.
