We see consequences for decisions made from Gov't very quickly. It doesn't take long for one decision to change our reality. I don't understand the whole issue of tariffs, but I think that this will hurt Canada and our ties with the US.

Its not only Canada, Trump seems intent on trade wars with the EU, Mexico and China as well. Some pretty big economies from a GDP perspective. Yet he seems to want to placate Putin and Russia, which further pisses off his allies.

The last few presidents have left us in the lurch by not keeping up with trade fairness. President Trump is trying to make up ground, but doing it all at once could lead to WWWIII. The 2nd World War started the same way.
