Belfast International Airport can be found just under 20 miles from the city centre of Belfast in Northern Ireland.
Bus
If travellers wish to go by public transport from the airport to city centre then a number of buses can be boarded from the outside of the airport building.
There is an express bus called Airport Express 300 which operates from the airport dropping passengers of in the city centre. Travellers can catch the express bus 4 times an hour in peak times from a designated bus stop outside the main airport building. The bus runs all day with a reduced off peak service and on average the journey time will last around half an hour depending on time of day and rush hour traffic. Visitors can purchase bus tickets on board the airport bus from the driver or from the arrivals tourist information desk inside the terminal building.
Tourists travelling further a field can catch a bus directly from the airport to Lisburn by using the Ulster bus number 109A and by using Airporter bus service to Londonderry.
Taxi
Visitors wishing to travel by taxi into Belfast City centre can ride themselves or they can share a cab ride using the taxi share scheme on offer from the official fleet of taxis which use the airport. The taxi rank can be found outside the main building on the right hand side after travellers exit the airport building. Passengers can check out prices before they decide to hire a taxi by viewing a list of fares on display before they exit the airport building. Just a reminder to double check your cab fare with the driver before you start your journey, so you know exactly what the charge will be.
Rail
There is no direct rail link from the airport to the city. The closest train station is based in Antrim which is a 6 mile journey by connecting bus from the airport. You can catch a train to Londonderry, Lisburn and Belfast from Antrim train station. If you wish to travel to Dublin, a train can be boarded from the train station in Belfast city centre.

If you are travelling by car to the airport, please input zip code/post code BT29 4AB into your GPS system.
There are a number of car parks available at the airport if drivers wish to leave their car at the airport whilst on holiday. For passengers being dropped off or collected, the airport asks that drivers use the directions to the set down zone.
Car Hire
There are a number of car rental firms based at Belfast Airport who have a wide range of car hire available to suit most needs. Please remember and bring along your driving license when renting a car. Car hire firms supplying cars are Hertz, Avis, Sixt, Budget, National to name but a few
