I have many friends with similar interests, but as well have friends with other interests than mine. I believe it’s healthy to hear from others who have thoughts, interests, beliefs and backgrounds from mine. It helps expand my world.

I think if you don't look to expand your horizons by meeting all sorts of different people with different backgrounds and likes you are missing out. Prejudging people is often not accurate and you may be pleasantly surprised with others.

I feel its good to be open minded and listen to and value others thoughts and opinions. Sometimes even if we disagree, we need to respect that not everyone sees the world through the same lens as us.
