How dull would our world be if we were all the same. We should celebrate our differences and uniqueness. Accept those that are different and if you want emulate those traits of those that we admire.

I'm sure we all have someone we look up to and desire to be like. We have heroes and people we respect and admire and secretly desire to be like. We have mentors to help us become the best we can be, yet still have our own uniqueness.

How boring would that be? Besides, the older I get the more I see things in people that I wouldn't want to be anyway! I like the fact that I march to my own beat, and am drawn to others who do as well.

One needs to be their own person. Be yourself and let your voice be heard will garner more respect than someone who just conforms. As long as your "uniqueness" doesn't offend others, why not.

We are a lot more alike than many of us care to admit Many people seek to prove they are different, usually to gain attention. Be yourself, relax, there is no shame in being similar to your fellow man, we will always be unique in some way.
