When I was a child I found
The body of a woman in the
Woods outside my home
Her face and body arms
And legs covered In large
purple bruises Her chocolate
eyes stare into the heavens
Fear desperation replaced
By empty nothingness
She lay naked on dry
Dead leaves and though
Her throat slit mutilated
by An unprofessional blade
Not a drop of blood lay
About her
I move closer expecting
Some gasping for help
But nothing comes
Only silence
I want to touch her
I reach my hand out
Index finger extended
Feel her soft skin give into
The light pressure
I half expect to break the
Surface
I examine her more
Her face her arms her breasts
Then further down I am greeted
With a memory I cannot expel
A stick like some phallic symbol
Protruding from her sex
A creamy liquid oozing around
The insertion
I stared for what seems like hours
Until I’m pulled away by the
Distant sound of wheels on gravel.
