In this blog, I will share information about Psoriasis and tell you what you should avoid and what you should do to cure it, here I will also share my personal experience as I have personally faced all the challenges that a patient with chronic Psoriasis has to face and guide you how you can cure it so please kindly read the whole blog as in starting I have just mentioned what psoriasis is but after a few paragraphs i have shared my experience which will guide you how you can cure your psoriasis.
What is Psoriasis ?

Psoriasis is an autoimmune disorder, meaning the body’s immune system mistakenly attacks healthy skin cells, causing the rapid growth of new skin cells and the characteristic symptoms of psoriasis. While there’s currently no cure for psoriasis, it can be managed effectively through a combination of treatments and lifestyle modifications.
Things to avoid in Psoriasis
first of all you should not be panicked and be patient as the main reason for any auto immunity disorder is stress , unhealthy lifestyle and habits .
so now I am going to tell you how can you cure psoriasis as I have personally experienced it, you have to take some precautions and change your lifestyle and the most important thing is that you can’t go back as there is no permanent cure for psoriasis and no doctor no medicine will permanently cure you and if you start taking medicine once you stop it the new symptoms are going to be worse then ever or previous ones and its growth rate also increase very rapidly so now you have to say goodbye to cigarettes, alcohol, meat, dairy, soy products. You have to completely avoid these 5 things –
1. 1. Alcohol: Drinking too much alcohol can make psoriasis worse because it can cause more inflammation in the body.
2. Cigarettes: Smoking can also make psoriasis worse. If you smoke, quitting can help your skin get better.
3. Dairy: Some people find that dairy products like milk and cheese can make their psoriasis worse. Trying less dairy or dairy-free options might help.
4. Meat: Every type of meat product has the potential to worsen psoriasis symptoms. This includes red meat like beef, pork, and lamb, as well as processed meats such as bacon, sausage, hot dogs, and other type meats. These meats can trigger inflammation in the body, which will exacerbate psoriasis symptoms. It’s important to be mindful of your meat consumption and consider avoiding these products .
5. Soy: Some people’s psoriasis gets worse when they eat soy products like tofu or soy milk. Trying less soy might help improve their skin.
6 Spicy and processed food :Spicy and processed foods can trigger or worsen its symptoms . Spicy foods contain compounds that increase inflammation in the body, potentially exacerbating psoriasis symptoms like redness and itching. Processed foods often contain additives, unhealthy fats, and refined sugars, which can also promote inflammation and contribute to psoriasis flare-ups. Limiting or avoiding these types of foods will help manage psoriasis symptoms more effective .
Methods and ways to treat it
To treat Psoriasis you have to be consistent and firm, you have to ignore all the bad habits like smoking and drinking as it’s an autoimmunity disorder and nothing can permanently cure it except you and your will to not ever do what is not good for you. There are plenty of foods available for your breakfast dinner lunch that are good for you and help to treat psoriasis there are literally hundreds variety of fruits and vegetables that will easily become available to you. there are a number of legumes you can eat a number of fresh leafy vegetables which you can eat and also tens of flour types if you have any particular grain allergy Eating green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits, lentils, and legumes which do not need much oil and spice to prepare will improve your skin condition and make you feel more fresh and energetic and improve your immunity system significantly. It also reduces the risk of other diseases that are considerably related to bad immunity systems like cancer, heart problems, and other immunity disorders. Remember one thing if you don’t control your bad habits and do not change your eating habits and lifestyle it will definitely get worse day by day as it is an autoimmunity disorder and there is nothing outside the body that is causing it, so it your own body and immunity system which is not working properly and it will only get cure if you change your habits and number of ointments and medication will cure your symptoms but one thing you should put on your mind that once you will stop using them the new symptoms will far worse then previous ones and its speed also increases to affect other body parts as psoriasis can cover your whole body so please change your lifestyle before its too late.
