Every situation is unique. If you were raised by parents who have ethics and morals, you will instinctly make the right choice and decision. Whether its wrong or right, at least you can live with yourself for your choice(s).

Unless there is something wrong with your thought process such a suffering from a sociopathic issue then your morals are determined for you by the culture you live in. What is acceptable in western culture may differ in another culture.

I think if you are truly honest with yourself, your gut will tell you the truth. Does what you are doing hurt someone? Feel right? Are there any red flags? The answers to these questions generally tell you whether it is morally right/wrong.

How I determine what is morally right and wrong comes from my belief and values from the Bible. This is individual though, and we all make our own choice. Gut instinct is usually right!

Morality is determined by ones culture and belief systems. It measures conformity. In a multicultural democracy, it measures ones willingness to conform to majority rule. To acquiesce personal moral authority dir the greater good.

If you have an inkling its not right, it probably isn'. One needs to factor in how guilty they will feel if they don' do things morally "correct", One also needs to factor in they are being a role model to their peers and possibly their kid

I agree with both comments from Moses J. You don't need to be religious to have good morals, listen to your conscience, be aware how your actions affect others. Some of the least moral people I know are "religious".

I'm pretty sure those who are followers of monotheistic religions are not the only one's that understand the difference between right/wrong or good/evil.

There is definitely good and evil. So there must be a moral standard to differentiate between these 2. I believe this standard is God's word the Bible. We do know right from wrong inherently, the Bible confirms it.

Agreed, unless you suffer from a personality disorder or are from another planet, your conscious will speak to you as to what is right or wrong. Choosing not to listen to your conscience doesn't mean you don't know it to be a wrongful act.

I think we all know the difference, but we don't always listen to our conscious

Your internal voice (conscience) should be speaking to you and causing feelings of discomfort if you are doing something morally or ethically wrong. That is unless you are socio or psychopathic.

Follow your conscience! Also, if you don't know what you believe to be morally right or wrong, it's hard to have a good compass. First you need to figure out what your morals and values are....

If I feel like something I'm doing is wrong... then 99.9% of the time it IS WRONG!

I completely agree with both of you... You can trust your gut instinct to tell you whether something is right or wrong.
