It's a good idea but so many legitimate reasons why some are you ot able to lead and active lifestyle. Nothing wrong with prociding incentives to those that do chose to be more active.

No. The very idea is discriminatory, ableist, and intrusive. Also, because of bio-individuality, what may be healthy for some might actually be unhealthy for others. Being healthy is itself a benefit; poor health extracts many costs.

No.

Sounds good on paper, but how do you determine what constitutes an active lifestyle? Or what is unhealthy? If we can answer these questions, it could work.

I agree Trevor, like I said previously I love the premise, but accurately measuring of an active, healthy lifestyle would be very difficult.

Everybody's idea of how active they are will be different. How would the government know how much time you spend exercising.Dont see how it could work.

I tend to agree with this above statement, all of us must take responsibility for our health. The costs continue to increase for poor health in our Country

I also think this is an interesting idea - I think that challenge is that what looks healthy to one person looks unhealthy to the next. So then how do you measure it?

Interesting idea but who would decide exactly what a healthy lifestyle consists of? Points for non drinkers/nonsmokers or if your bodyfat is under a certain percentage? Kind of vague but like the basic premise as it would promote health.
